What Is It and How Does It Work?

Since JUVÉDERM is biocompatible and biodegradable, it requires no allergy testing, and will be harmlessly absorbed and eliminated by the body over time.
About the Procedure
Dr. Poulter injects the filler through a tiny needle, and eases it under the skin to instantly restore volume and smooth wrinkles and folds. JUVÉDERM Injectable Gel now comes pre-mixed with lidocaine, a fast-acting anesthetic, for a more comfortable procedure. The procedure only takes a few minutes, and patients can return immediately to normal activities, experiencing only slight redness and swelling at the injection sites. Results from JUVÉDERM Injectable Gel can last up to a year, with most patients reporting best results with regular touch ups.
